1095C and Paperwork Burden Reduction Act

 Every year, the district provides Insurance Eligible employees a 1095C as proof of health coverage. This form is not used for tax returns, but only for your record of proof. The IRS is no longer requiring that employers provide this form.

 The Paperwork Burden Reduction Act (PBRA) reduces unnecessary paperwork related to health insurance coverage and reporting for employers and employees. Accordingly, employers are no longer required to provide written notices to 1095C eligible employees. A copy of the employee’s 1095C will be posted to ESS by the deadline set by the IRS, normally the first of March. Requests will be mailed to the employee’s address on file with the district within 30 days.
