ASD2 will be hosting a Substitute Workshop on Thursday, October 17th. If interested, call 369-4605 to register!

We hope this message finds you safe and well. Thank you once again for your patience and support during this challenging time. Due to ongoing power outages and impassable roads from the storm, all schools in our district will be closed on Thursday, Oct. 3, and Friday, Oct. 4. These days will not be classified as eLearning days. With only one school currently having power, we believe these additional two days will allow for our electricity to be restored and provide our families and community the time to address their needs and support one another.
Please remember that Monday, Oct. 7, is already scheduled to be a school holiday, and Tuesday, Oct. 8, is a scheduled teacher workday. Therefore, students will return to school on Wednesday, Oct. 9.
Thank you for your understanding and for supporting one another. Stay safe!

Dear Anderson School District Two Family,
We hope this message finds you safe. Due to widespread power outages and impassable roads caused by the recent storm, all schools will be closed on Tuesday, October 1, and Wednesday, October 2.
We want to extend our heartfelt gratitude for your patience and support during this challenging time. Please remember to check on your neighbors and lend a helping hand where you can.
These days will not be classified as eLearning Days. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation as we navigate this situation together. Stay safe!

Monday, September 30 will be an eLearning Day for our students due to power outages. Your child's school will communicate assignments and directions for eLearning. Our schools will be flexible with students that do not have power or Internet access . Thank you for your support.

Friday, September 27 will be an eLearning Day for our students. Anderson County Emergency Management anticipates extremely high winds from Thursday evening through Friday afternoon. The SC Department of Transportation strongly advises that school buses should not be on the road in conditions in which sustained winds exceed 30 mph or wind gusts which exceed 40 mph. Your child's teacher(s) will communicate your child's eLearning assignments for Friday.
Also, all Thursday after school activities will be canceled.
As always, the safety of our students and staff is of the utmost importance. Thank you for your support.

It is with great sadness that we inform our ASD2 family of the death of 11th grade student Abbigail "Grace" Callaham. Grace was involved in a vehicle accident this morning after leaving BHP. We will have extra counselors at BHP to provide grief support to students and staff. Please keep Grace's family in your thoughts and prayers as they navigate through this difficult time.
Additionally, we ask that you keep 12th grade student Thomas Kennedy and his family in your thoughts and prayers as he was also involved in the accident and is currently in critical condition.
We will host our annual See You at the Pole tomorrow at 7:30am at BHP, where we will lift up prayers for both of these students and their families.
