Belton Elementary students had their annual Dodgeball Tournament for the third nine weeks. Students who had great behavior for the quarter were allowed to participate to celebrate all of their hard work. They had a blast!
In 2021, Anderson School District Two launched its National Board Cohort. Each National Board Teacher receives a $5,000 annual state stipend. Six teachers, who received National Board Certification in 2024, were recognized during the March School Board meeting.

ASD2 is pleased to announce a new professional development initiative beginning the 2024-25 school year: a Master's Degree Cohort in partnership with Lander University. This program began in Fall 2024 with 25 teachers and participants must commit to remaining in ASD2 for three years after the completion of the program.
Knox Streifel and Londyn McAlister, students from Marshall Primary School, recited the Pledge of Allegiance during the March School Board Meeting. Thank you Knox and Londyn!

Recently we celebrated Montessori week at MPS. Montessori lessons for primary school focus on five key areas of study: practical life, sensorial, math, language and culture. Children learn through repetition and practice, and progress at their own pace.

HPE 4th graders have been learning about procedural texts and one of the stories they read was on making butter. Teachers brought the lesson to life by having students follow the procedure to make their own butter!
Belton Elementary School teachers had the privilege to participate in professional development from Solution Tree coach, Kim Nichols. Mrs. Nichols, a former administrator and district office staff from Georgia, has visited Belton Elementary several times this year. As a Solution Tree coach, she has been able to help the teachers grow in their learning to ensure all students learn at high levels.
