Thanks to the magic of Virtual Reality, kindergarten students at Wright Elementary were able to go on an exciting adventure with Santa onboard his sleigh. Stops included the North Pole, New York City, Egypt, and even outer space! Adventures in learning know no bounds!
BHP JROTC sponsors the annual Toys for Tots drive. Toys are collected from all students and the BETA Club and National Honor Society donate toys for service hours. Wright Elementary students were treated to a Christmas concert by the Belton Middle School Choir. What a wonderful way to kick off December!
Belton Middle School would like to recognize Mrs. Schmidt. Mrs. Schmidt teaches 7th grade ELA. Mrs. Schmidt is approachable, not only to students but to everyone at BMS. She is someone that the students know they can go to with any problems or concerns or even just to share a funny story. She is caring, enthusiastic, accessible, and patient. She can adjust her teaching strategies to fit both the students and the material by recognizing that different students learn in different ways. She is a positive light for all and this pours into all she encounters. Belton Middle School is lucky to have Mrs. Schmidt and grateful to have her as a member of the family.
